Onward to a Cure: 2019 Susan G. Komen 3-Day®

Thank you to each of our donors who supported Shoecraft Burton’s participation in the Susan G. Komen 3-Day® in honor of our Associate and breast cancer survivor, Rachael Kelley.

Michelle Burton and her team of friends and family began their 60-mile journey on Friday, November 15th in Del Mar and crossed the finish line Sunday, November 17th in downtown San Diego. Blisters and limps aside, it was an honor for Michelle and her team to walk for Rachael and other colleagues and friends, including Michelle’s close friend Samantha, a 1-year breast cancer survivor.

Rachael celebrated with the team at the finish line and stayed to watch the Survivor Ceremony. It is stunning to see how many young women are affected by breast cancer but so encouraging to see the endless support rallying behind them.

Thanks to the generosity of each donor, Michelle’s team collectively raised over $13,000.00 in the fight to end breast cancer. We are so grateful for each contribution as this effort would not have been possible without each of you.

Onward to a cure!
